Your mission and deliverables plan

This brief sets out the scope of your Gaspar Grande aerial assignment, how we will carry it out and exactly what you will receive. We will confirm final flight parameters, survey extents and regulatory approvals with you before mobilization.

01 · About Us

Aerial intelligence for your planning, documentation and decisions

We are BOWEN360 Solutions. We provide professional drone-based aerial surveying, inspection, mapping, site documentation and visual media. We combine experienced flight operations with modern aerial imaging and data processing to turn your site conditions into visual and spatial information you can use.

Aerial Surveying

Structured aerial capture for mapping, elevation analysis, surface models and project planning.

Aerial Videography

Professional high-resolution footage for your stakeholder presentations, documentation and communications.

3D Site Intelligence

Digital site models that provide an intuitive understanding of terrain, structures and site relationships.

Site-specific operational planning focused on coverage, safety, efficiency and data quality.

Our approach for you: a coordinated two-pilot operation using separate aircraft optimized for survey capture and cinematic visual documentation — giving you a reusable digital record of your site while avoiding unnecessary repeat mobilization.
02 · Project Overview

Your Gaspar Grande aerial survey and videography assignment

Your mission combines professional aerial videography with systematic aerial mapping of your agreed project area, giving you both a compelling visual record and a structured spatial dataset — all captured in a single 6.5-hour mission.

Primary Objective

  • Capture a current aerial record of your agreed mission area.
  • Produce the spatial data you need for project planning and review.
  • Provide you with professional video and photography for your communications.

Mission Success Criteria

  • Complete your agreed coverage safely and efficiently within the 6.5-hour mission.
  • Achieve sufficient image overlap and image quality for processing.
  • Deliver clearly organized, presentation-ready outputs to you.
03 · Mission Area

Gaspar Grande — your operational area reference

The image you supplied establishes the working project context. We will confirm the final survey boundary, launch points and operational zones with you during mission planning.

Project Area

The area you define for us to document and survey.

Survey Coverage

Systematic mapping passes designed around the confirmed boundary and terrain.

Video Coverage

Key approaches, coastline, terrain and project context selected for visual storytelling.

Flight Operations

Launch/recovery and pilot positions selected after site access and airspace review.

The map you receive stays clean and focused on your deliverable coverage. Detailed launch points, hazards, emergency landing options and pilot sectors remain part of our internal operational mission plan.
04 · Applications

How this mission supports you

Visual

Aerial Videography

High-resolution footage showing the overall location, coastline, terrain, access and key project features for presentations and documentation.

Visual

Aerial Photography

High-resolution nadir and oblique imagery providing a permanent visual record of current site conditions.

Mapping

Orthomosaic Mapping

A single high-resolution overhead map assembled from systematic aerial imagery for planning, review and measurement.

Terrain

Topographic Data

Elevation and visible-surface information supporting terrain review, slope analysis, planning and technical discussions.

3D

3D Site Modelling

A digital three-dimensional representation of visible terrain, buildings and site features for intuitive project visualization.

Terrain

Contour Mapping

Contour information derived from validated elevation/surface data to communicate changes in elevation across the mission area.

05 · Drone Data Explained

One coordinated mission. Multiple assets for you.

We won’t overwhelm you with technical process. Here are the project assets we can produce for you from your mission dataset.

Orthomosaic Map

High-resolution, geometrically corrected overhead imagery suitable for visual review, reference, measurement and planning.

3D Textured Model

Three-dimensional visual model of the site for project review, presentations and spatial understanding.

Digital Surface Model

Elevation model representing the visible surface, including ground, structures and vegetation captured by the survey.

Contour Data

Contour lines generated from validated elevation/surface data at an interval appropriate to the achieved dataset.

Point Cloud

Dense 3D point dataset used as a foundation for measurements, modelling and technical workflows.

Aerial Media

Professionally captured still photography and high-resolution video for documentation and stakeholder communication.

Terrain note: Photogrammetric elevation products represent surfaces visible to the camera. Dense vegetation can obscure bare ground; if you need true bare-earth terrain beneath canopy, we will advise on supplementary ground survey or LiDAR.

  • Provide you with ready-to-use maps, media and technical outputs.
  • Walk you through the handover and review.
  • Archive agreed project data for the defined retention period.
Weather contingency: Gaspar Grande is a coastal/island environment. Wind, precipitation, visibility and salt spray can affect safe flight and image quality. For safety and data quality, we retain authority to pause or reschedule when conditions are unsuitable, and will agree a new date with you.
09 · Safety & Operational Controls

Commercial operations planned around compliance and site-specific risk

Regulatory Review

Confirm aircraft/operator requirements and applicable commercial UAS approvals before operation.

Airspace Check

Review current TTCAA no-fly-zone information, notices and temporary restrictions.

Site Control

Establish safe launch/recovery areas and separation from uninvolved persons and property.

Operational Awareness

Maintain adequate situational awareness and operate within applicable limitations.

Weather Limits

Use conservative wind, precipitation and visibility limits appropriate to aircraft and site.

Emergency Plan

Define lost-link, low-battery, forced-landing and emergency response procedures before flight.

10 · Data Processing & Quality Control

From raw imagery to your organized deliverables

01Data Ingest

Image & Video Quality

Mavic 4 Pro — the visual quality you’ll receive

Pixpro's field review highlights the Mavic 4 Pro's 4/3-inch main camera, 6K/60fps video capability, triple-camera flexibility and strong real-world imaging performance. The review also notes that published endurance is a best-case figure and field planning should account for real conditions and reserves.

Full −40° to 400° camera spinPixpro · gimbal roll range in flight. The rotation has a hard stop at 400°, so rotation shots are planned at controlled speed.

Primary 4/3 Camera

DJI lists 100 MP maximum output and 6K/60fps HDR from the main Hasselblad camera. Pixpro notes the 100 MP mode uses a Quad Bayer arrangement and is best treated as a high-resolution option rather than the default for every task.

Telephoto Flexibility

70 mm and 168 mm equivalent cameras allow tighter visual perspectives from safer stand-off positions and add visual variety to your footage.

Professional Capture

10-bit H.265 capture and multiple focal lengths provide flexibility for grading, cinematic framing and delivery of polished media to you.

Survey Quality

Mavic 3 Enterprise — designed around repeatable mapping capture

The Mavic 3 Enterprise is the survey-focused platform in your mission. DJI specifies a 20 MP 4/3 CMOS wide camera, mechanical shutter and RTK module support, which directly align with efficient photogrammetry workflows.

What this means for you

  • Your visual deliverables: high-resolution photography and up to 6K source video from the Mavic 4 Pro, delivered through your video recording and production package.
  • Your mapping deliverables: orthomosaic, DSM and contours produced from structured survey capture using the Mavic 3 Enterprise's mechanical shutter and enterprise positioning workflow.
  • Quality control: we review coverage and image quality before leaving, so any gaps are addressed while our team is still on site.
  • Accuracy: final mapping accuracy depends on altitude, control methodology, RTK/GCP configuration, terrain, vegetation and validation; we will report it to you against the method actually used.
